BUCKHANNON, WV - Southern Indiana defeated Davis & Elkins 1-0 in non-conference men's action held at Buckhannon-Upshur High School on Sunday afternoon. Jeffrey McClure scored the winning goals in the 84th minute when he split to Senator defenders to find the net.
USI (1-1) had a 20-16 edge in shots and placed six shots on goal, while the Senators placed three shots on goal.
Junior goalkeeper Moises Oseguera posted five saves for the Senators, while Ben Dempsey had three saves for USI.
The Senators (1-1) return to action next Saturday when they travel to Mercyhurst College for an 11 a.m. contest.
