BUCKHANNON, WV -The Davis & Elkins women's soccer team defeated Seton Hill 2-0 Saturday night in WVIAC action at Buckhannon-Upshur High School. The Senators have now won three matches in a row.
Junior Sarah Fyock gave the Senators a 1-0 lead seven minutes into the match when she scored off an assist from Allison Dant.
Fifteen minutes later senior Cole Dant concluded the D&E scoring when she placed a shot in the right corner, just out of the reach of Seton Hill keeper Bethany Winter.
Freshman goalkeeper Ashley Winkelspecht finished with six saves for D&E.
The Senators improve to 7-6-1 overall and 5-2-1 in the WVIAC, while Seton Hill falls to 8-7-1, and 4-4.
D&E will travel to Alderson-Broaddus Wednesday for a 2 p.m. match.
