JULIA HOEHN PICKS UP WVIAC HONORS

PRINCETON, WV -Davis & Elkins freshman Julia Hoehn has been named the WVIAC women's tennis Player of the Week, as announced by the league office.
Hoehn went 4-0 on the week. The rookie from Thurnau, Germany, teamed up with Kristen Justice to post an 8-6 doubles victory at No. 1 over Concord. The duo then downed Seton Hill 8-2 at the top spot.
In singles play, she bested 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1. Hoehn then bested the Griffins top player in straight sets 6-2, 6-2.
Other top performers: Linda Tatala (West Liberty), Ana Juarez (West Virginia State), Andreea Sluasarciuc (West Virginia State).
